Outside one can gaze at the pastoral setting of cattle, grazing deer, and many of the state's rarest and most loved birds. For history buffs, there is a family cemetery with markers dating back a century. Or you might choose to sit out under the trees and relax to the sounds of nature and absorb the magnificent view of the Texas hill country.
Additionally, at The Cabin guests may find all sorts of outdoor activities in the Texas Hill Country such as hiking, catch and release fishing, bird watching, and stargazing. For the young or young at heart, nothing is more fun than bumping through the pastures to feed the cattle. For those who are seeking more activity, bring your horses or mountain bikes and ride the ranch, enjoy the views of the Hill Country. Pursue the trails that cattle have used on the ranch for over a 100 years.
Llano offers unique shopping including boutiques and antiques, as well as renowned eating-places where you can find barbecue, Mexican food, fine dining and desserts.
